Carlotta Armuzzi

Born in Cesena, 26 August 1987. Lawyer, admitted to the italian Bar since November 2014.

Her main areas of specialisation include consultancy on company matters (accounting and taxation), extraordinary transactions (mergers, spin-offs and contributions of assets) and tax litigation. She has acquired particular expertise on indirect taxes, mostly on VAT, customs and excise duty.

She carried out scientific research activity at the European School of Advanced Fiscal Studies between 2013 and 2018. In the same years she was a Tutor teaching Tax Law at the School of Law in Bologna in the Master’s Degree of Jurisprudence.

She gained the Ph.D. degree in European Tax Law, confirmed by the University of Bologna.

In 2017 he obtained the title of Doctor of Research (PhD) in European Tax Law at the University of Bologna.
In 2012 she obtained the specialist Master in Tax Law “A. Berliri” of the University of Bologna.

She won the research award “PM Italia Campus: empowering research award 2016” promoted by Philip Morris Italia S.r.l. and Philip Morris Manifacturing and Technology Bologna S.p.A. in collaboration with Vita S.p.A., with a project aimed at the comparative study of the customs and excise regulation of new tobacco products.

She is the author of scientific publications on taxation in the main specialized journals.

She is fluent in English.
